This site is a tribute to Lilian Noonan, who was born in Liverpool on 30th October, 1932.  She died peacefully at Greengables Nursing Home in Congleton, surrounded by her family on 30th March, 2020.  Lilian was the dearly loved wife of Brian, happily married for 59 years, a wonderful mother to Helen and Hilary, and mother-in-law to Mike.  

Only immediate family were able to attend the funeral during the very tightest restrictions in April 2020, though we did it properly.  We'd hoped to have a bigger memorial service open to Lilian's wider family, friends and acquaintance once coronavirus restrictions were lifted.  18 months past, and we decided it was no longer the right thing to do. We're sorry that so many people missed the funeral and were unable to gather for the farewell and get-together we'd wanted.  

Lilian gave regularly to the East Cheshire Hospice and they have struggled to raise funds during the pandemic.
